Parking
Parking meters and surface parking lots are available in the blocks surrounding the History Colorado Center. Covered parking is available at the Art Garage, adjacent to the Art Studios at 1200 Lincoln Street. Guests can use SpotHero to locate and reserve parking in advance. Parking is NOT available in the covered lot right next to the museum.
A person with a valid disability placard or plate may park where there is metered parking without paying, for up to 4 hours or the amount of time on the meter, whichever is greater.
We do not validate parking.
Members Only Parking Discount:
We are now pleased to offer discount parking for all History Colorado members at the Art Garage behind the History Colorado Center on Lincoln Street. All-day covered parking is just $8 for History Colorado members with validation. Payment at the Art Garage is due when you exit, so ask for a parking voucher at the History Colorado Center front desk before you leave.
Word to the wise! The Art Garage is NOT the parking structure located next to the Art Hotel or Denver Art Museum. Instead, the Art Garage is adjacent to the Art Studios at 1200 Lincoln Street, and it's located on the east side of Lincoln Street, between E 12th Ave. and E 13th Ave. Look for the rainbow-painted building with an entrance and exit onto Lincoln Street, which is a northbound one-way street.
Dining Options
Café Rendezvous is located just off the main lobby and it is a quick, casual café for museum-goers, Golden Triangle businesses and area residents alike. Bringing an unforgettable and unexpected local Colorado flare to your breakfast and lunch favorites.
Hours:
